This statement describes how Ethical Research Solution Ltd (“ERS”) processes personal information in connection with research data services, datasets, analytics tools, and related client platforms (“ERS data services”).

Roles

Depending on the engagement, ERS may act as a processor on behalf of clients or as an independent controller for certain operational processing. Contractual terms and study documentation define roles for each project.

Data processed

Services may involve survey responses, panel membership records, weighting variables, aggregated statistics, and technical logs. Categories depend on the products and jurisdictions involved.

Purposes

• Maintain data quality, security, and audit trails;
• Support client users of platforms and APIs;
• Meet legal and professional obligations.

Security and subprocessors

We implement access controls, encryption where appropriate, and vendor management for subprocessors that support hosting, support, or specialised processing. Subprocessors are bound by written obligations consistent with this statement.

Retention and deletion

Retention follows client instructions where ERS is processor, and documented schedules otherwise. We delete or anonymise data when retention periods end unless law requires longer storage.

Individual rights

Individuals may contact ERS or the client identified in study materials to exercise applicable rights. We assist clients in responding to requests when we process data on their behalf.
